Our History

Consultants & Counselors

KAKAMMPI started out as a migrant's desk of an NGO before it spun off to become an independent group. Currently, as a community and family-based organization, it extends various services to the workers from lobbying on certain issues in Congress to supporting the needs of migrant workers' families such as credit facilitation and day-care centers for their children.

The Kapisanan ng mga Kamag-anak ng Migranteng Manggagawang Pilipino, Inc. (KAKAMMPI) is a an organization of families of Overseas Filipino Workers and migrant returnees. Established in 1983, KAKAMMPI was formed to protect the rights and welfare of the OFW's as well as to assist in their problems concerning overseas migration by implementing programs to strengthen family support system.
